When your body knows how to move well you are able to exercise better. That means run faster, jump higher, play stronger, and generally ensure your body is up for everyday tasks.

Our classes will teach you good movement strategies so you can exercise more efficiently, effectively and reduce the likelihood of injury.

Like a car needs to be well oiled regularly and our teeth need to be brushed, our bodies need the same attention – and it is for this reason that the classes at Movement Designed are for everyone.

All our classes are $20 to drop in, but your first session is free!

Small group classes

We also provide small group classes, allowing you and your friends to take part in tailored activities run by a trained physiotherapist. This could be anything from a stretching class to a customised boot-camp-style sweat session.

60 minutes. This class is our speciality class, offering something you won’t find anywhere else in Wellington. Run by FRC mobility specialists – a technique which is now used by sporting bodies worldwide, MOD Mobility focuses on joint health, flexibility and strength, ensuring they all work together to make your body fitter and healthier. There is no use being flexible without having the strength to control your movements, and this class is all about active body control. Want basic self care and freedom from pain? Then this class is for you.
45 minutes. This is our introduction to movement class. Designed for beginners, we aim to help you build a strong foundation with which to build from. We focus on preparation, technique and general movement. If you haven’t moved for a while, or aren’t sure what level you’re at, MOD Movement is a great starting point!
