When your body knows how to move well you are able to exercise better. That means run faster, jump higher, play stronger, and generally ensure your body is up for everyday tasks.
Our classes will teach you good movement strategies so you can exercise more efficiently, effectively and reduce the likelihood of injury.
Like a car needs to be well oiled regularly and our teeth need to be brushed, our bodies need the same attention – and it is for this reason that the classes at Movement Designed are for everyone.
The sessions are run by FRC mobility specialists – a technique which is now used by sporting bodies worldwide. The first one is complementary and the following classes cost between $10-$20 depending on class size.
Our Fundamental classes work through exercises which teach you body control, improve strength, as well as help you learn skills such as hand stand and gymnastic moves. We break down squats, pull-ups, and press-ups and make sure the techniques are solid. We always end with a high intensity work out so be prepared to sweat.
The mobility and 40+ classes are at a slower pace but will still make you work hard. Like a physiotherapy session but with other people, these classes focus on joint health, flexibility and strength, ensuring they all work together to make your body fitter and healthier. There is no use being flexible without having the strength to control your movements

Injury treatment and ACC
Stephen has had a great success rate through helping clients recover from injury and also post-surgery. Appointments are typically one hour. If you are unsure whether ACC can cover your appointment, get in touch.

Tailored personal training
We have a unique skill set of being able to plan sessions to not only get you fit, but also increase your knowledge about your body and ensure you build good techniques and habits. Trainings are 45-minutes.
Movement assessment and screening
We have worked with a number of elite athletes, using movement screening to develop targeted programming for optimal function. If you play sport or exercise regularly then this is the perfect option. Appointments are one hour.
Small group classes
We also provide small group classes, allowing you and your friends to take part in tailored activities run by a trained physiotherapist. This could be anything from a stretching class to a customised boot-camp-style sweat session.
Kingdom Fitness Gym
Movement Designed also runs open classes in association with Kingdom Fitness Gym. These are a great way to work out and learn more about your body, while having fun at the same time.
